What is DENSITY Dual-Mode RF?

What happens during the treatment? Does it hurt?
Your therapist will begin with a skin analysis to understand your skin condition and signs of ageing, then choose the face or eye tip as needed. During the treatment you’ll feel a deep warming sensation, along with cooling sprays from the SAC smart cooling system. Comfort levels vary from person to person, and your therapist will adjust the energy and cooling in real time based on how you feel. Numbing cream is generally not needed.
What results can I expect, and how long do they last?
Many clients feel a firming effect straight after treatment. As collagen continues to build, results are usually most visible 2 to 3 months later and typically last around a year. Actual results and how long they last depend on your skin type, age and lifestyle.
How often should I have the treatment?
We generally recommend one DENSITY treatment a year to maintain results. Your therapist may also suggest pairing it with regular skincare treatments. Recommended frequency is personalised after your skin analysis.
How is DENSITY different from traditional monopolar RF?
Traditional monopolar RF uses a single type of energy. Heat is concentrated in the deeper layers, so surface concerns are harder to improve, and treatments take longer. DENSITY combines monopolar and bipolar energy to heat deep and surface layers together. With the SAC smart cooling system, treatments are faster and more comfortable, tackling deep tightening and surface texture in one session.
Who should avoid DENSITY?
The treatment is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have a pacemaker or metal implants; have an irregular heartbeat, epilepsy, diabetes, a bleeding disorder or an immune system condition; or have wounds, inflammation or infection in the treatment area. If you have metal dental work, braces, or have had thread lifts or fillers, please let your therapist know beforehand.
How should I prepare, and what aftercare is needed?
Before treatment, please remove all metal jewellery. Skin may look slightly flushed afterwards, which usually settles quickly. For one week after treatment, keep skin well moisturised and wear sun protection. Avoid harsh products such as high-strength vitamin C, AHAs, retinoids and alcohol-based products. Also avoid strenuous exercise and hot environments such as saunas, steam rooms and hot springs.
